Rendering
Rendering a text is the conversion of character codes into glyphs codes one by one, consulting the encoding font selected, and then puts the glyphs side by side. Asian scripts such as Thai, Devangari and Myanmar use these types of rendering.
There are three kinds of rendering methods. They are Opentype system that developed by Adobe and Microsoft, Graphite render system that developed by Graphite, and then m17n library. The Opentype system use Uniscribe engine that render over the Opentype Table embeded fonts. The Graphite system use Graphite render engine and Graphite fonts to render. The m17n library is render engine over the pango and can be render on every font.
