What is NLP?
The abbreviation "NLP" stands for natural language processing. 'Natural language' does not mean any programming languages. In this case, we refer to Myanmar language processing on computers.
Myanmar NLP Research Center works on and have interest in all technologies related to Myanmar and computing such as:
- localization of operating systems and softwares
- optical character recognition (OCR)
- spelling checking in Myanmar language
- sorting in Myanmar language
- grammar checking in Myanmar language
- voice recognition
- hand writing recognition
- machine translation from/to Myanmar from/to foreign languages
- etc.
